One-to-one Sessions
Lisa teaches bespoke, tailor made, one to one session or one to two sessions (for example, with a couple). She has also taught hen gatherings with groups of up to 10 women and other small group type classes.
The value of a one to one is that we practice yoga that is completely adapted to suit the needs of the student. For example, if the person has restricted movement in a shoulder, then movements are taught to release some of the tightness and tension in that area. If someone has a compromised respiratory system then gentle but strengthening breathing techniques can be practised with Lisa. In one to one and one to two private sessions, students will be provided with a home practice sheet or video to enable them to regularly practice in their own chosen space. The home practice is renewed on a monthly or six weekly basis to provide variation and to work on other areas that may need this specific and caring attention.
